As Micron Technology readies for the construction of a second large-scale fabrication plant, it needs a few key approvals. One of which is the annexation of a portion of its land into the City of Boise. Micron went before Boise’s Planning and Zoning Commission on Monday, where it received a unanimous recommendation for approval of its proposal — with the condition that Micron grant right-of-way on its land for future roadways.

Another Boise mall stalwart plans large new store at the Village at Meridian

Pottery Barn is bringing its sister along with it to The Village at Meridian. Permits filed with the City of Meridian show that Williams-Sonoma is setting up shop in the outdoor shopping center’s planned expansion. According to the permits, the new store is 5,550 square feet, slightly smaller than the Boise Towne Square mall’s 5,750-square-foot version. The store is located southwest of Urban Outfitters. The cookware store, founded in 1956, has over 150 locations nationwide.
