Abstract We demonstrate how Large Language Models (LLMs) accelerate biomedical data harmonization through automated Common Data Element (CDE) generation. We processed 31 datasets including clinical taxonomies and research data dictionaries through OpenAI’s Generative Pre-trained Transformer - 4 (API Model gpt-4-0613), generating comprehensive metadata for each element using a template-based system.

SWAT: As a vehicle for expressing universal emotions, the art of any age is considered to be a window into the workings of its civilisation. Abstract Parkinson’s disease (PD) is a common neurodegenerative disorder with a significant risk proportion driven by genetics. While much progress has been made, most of the heritability remains unknown. This is in-part because previous genetic studies have focused on the contribution of single nucleotide variants. More complex forms of variation, such as structural variants and tandem repeats, are already associated with several synucleinopathies.
