We show that supplementing the Standard Model by only a second Higgs doublet, a combined explanation of h→eτ, h→μτ, b→sℓ+ℓ−, the W mass and R(D(*)) as well as the excess in t→bH+(130  GeV)→bb¯c is possible. While this requires flavor violating couplings, the stringent bounds from, e.g., μ→eγ, τ→μγ, Bs−B¯s mixing, b→sγ, low mass dijet, and pp→H+H−→τ+τ−νν¯ searches can be avoided.

We study phenomenology of a light scalar dark matter (DM). In the model, there is an inert doublet scalar and a singlet Dirac fermion ψ, both charged under a global Z2 symmetry. The mass of the lightest inert scalar H can be lighter than 10 GeV by imposing appropriate relations between three scalar quartic couplings. The lightest Z2 odd particle is stable and DM.

In this article, we review and update implications of the muon anomalous magnetic moment (muon g−2) anomaly for two-Higgs-doublet models (2HDMs), which are classified according to imposed symmetries and their resulting Yukawa sector. In the minimal setup, the muon g−2 anomaly can be accommodated by the type-X (leptophilic) 2HDM, flavor-aligned 2HDM (FA2HDM), muon-specific 2HDM (μ2HDM), and μτ-flavor-violating 2HDM.
