Oral Sabizabulin for High-Risk, Hospitalized Adults with Covid-19: Interim Analysis
Abstract Background Sabizabulin is an oral, novel microtubule disruptor that has dual antiviral and anti-inflammatory activities in preclinical models. Methods A randomized, multicenter placebo-controlled phase 3 clinical trial was conducted with hospitalized patients with moderate to severe Covid-19 who were at high risk for acute respiratory distress syndrome (ARDS) and death. Patients were randomly assigned (2:1) to 9 mg of oral sabizabulin or placebo daily (up to 21 days).
Recovery of harmonic-like behavior of the polar mode in ${\mathrm{BaTiO}}_{3}$ at high pressures
Abstract The local structure of high-pressure BaTiO3 has been interrogated by neutron total scattering methods up to pressures of 4.18 GPa at ambient temperature. Competitive refinements of cubic, tetragonal, and rhombohedral distortion modes against pair distribution functions indicate contrasting local structure behavior of temperature- and pressure-induced cubic BaTiO3.
Increasing Prevalence of Medically Complex Children in US Hospitals
Abstract OBJECTIVE: In this study we used national data to determine changes in the prevalence of hospital admissions for medically complex children over a 15-year period. PATIENTS AND METHODS: Data from the Nationwide Inpatient Sample, a component of the Healthcare Cost and Utilization Project, was analyzed in 3-year increments from 1991 to 2005 to determine national trends in rates of hospitalization of children aged 8 days to 4 years with chronic conditions.

Those two lifelong friends were Dan Liedahl and Jake Durham, both from the same sleepy town outside of Minneapolis, Minnesota and both tried and true fanatics of the sideways standing culture that helped shape their riding style and artistic vision, respectively.
Community policing idea won't work
I would like to offer an opinion in reference to the police community problem in La Marque ("Council: Department to focus on community policing," The Daily News, July 11).First, according to a recent Supreme Court decision (Rodriguez v. U.S. 13-99720), I don't believe the police officer was following the guidelines in this case when he stopped the two young ladies for a traffic violation.
Exploring the high-resolution mapping of gender-disaggregated development indicators
AbstractImproved understanding of geographical variation and inequity in health status, wealth and access to resources within countries is increasingly being recognized as central to meeting development goals. Development and health indicators assessed at national or subnational scale can often conceal important inequities, with the rural poor often least well represented.
