Legendary Turtles Singer Mark Volman Now Tells His Story in a New Autobiography
As BestClassicBands site reports, Mark Volman, who with Howard Kaylan formed the backbone of the popular ’60s music group The Turtles, has announced his autobiography. The memoir will cover his varied musical adventures. Titled Happy Forever: My Musical Adventures With The Turtles, Frank Zappa, T. Rex, Flo & Eddie, and More, Volman’s autobiography includes forewords by Alice Cooper and Chris Hillman and will be published on June 20, 2023, via Jawbone Press.

Classic Romesco Sauce
This is a classic European sauce, that is very robust - especially with the roasted Veggies! It uses an old fashioned thickening agent... Bread and nuts. Soak the ancho pepper in hot water for 30 minutes, then remove and dry with paper towel. Save the soaking liquid. Preheat the grill and set up for direct grilling over medium high heat. Toast the nuts in a frying pan over medium heat for 4-6 minutes, stirring occasionally to keep sure they brown evenly. Transfer to a plate to cool.

Love Burnt Ends, but don't want to make the entire pork shoulder to get them? Try this shortcut. Start with some country style ribs, which are typically cut from pork shoulder. I picked up mine at the Oneida Market as usual. After rinsing with cold water and patting dry with paper towel, rub each rib over with plain yellow mustard to help the rub stick. Then apply a generous amount of your favorite rub. This time around, I used this brown sugar rub , which has some really nice sweetness.

One day, a lady came into my office with her husband while he had his hearing tested. Upon completion of the test, we discussed hearing aid technology and styles. She was very skeptical about hearing aids due to her recollection of her father’s experience with hearing aids. She remembered that they were very large and whistled all the time and when he wore them and he was forever adjusting the aids. He could not stand them in back ground noise and often left the hearing aids in the drawer.
