Signature of magnetoelectric coupling driven finite momentum pairing in 3D ising superconductor - Nature Communications
Abstract The finite momentum superconducting paring states (FMPs) represent a forefront of condensed matter physics. Here we report experimental evidence of FMP in a locally noncentrosymmetric bulk superconductor 4Hb-TaS2. Using hard X-ray diffraction and angle-resolved photoemission spectroscopy, we reveal unusual 2D ferro-rotational charge density wave (CDW) and weak interlayer hopping in 4Hb-TaS2.
Measurement of phonon angular momentum - Nature Physics
Abstract In condensed matter, angular momentum is intimately related to the emergence of topological quantum states, including chiral superconductivity, quantum spin liquids and various chiral quasiparticles. Recently, it has been predicted that microscopic lattice excitations, known as phonons, can carry finite angular momentum, leading to specific physical properties of materials. However, phonon angular momentum has not yet been observed directly.

Zeller's move to center paying dividends for Hornets
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (AP) -- Cody Zeller's unplanned move to center is paying major dividends for the Charlotte Hornets. When Al Jefferson went down last season with an injury, coach Steve Clifford asked the 7-foot, 240-pound Zeller to fill in by shifting from power forward to the 5 spot. Zeller played so well that Clifford decided to keep him there even after Jefferson returned. ''It was kind of a freak thing how it happened and I don't think anyone was planning on it,'' Zeller said Monday.

Can new coach clean up Jaguars' biggest mess?
Firing head coach Gus Bradley solved last year’s problem. This year’s problem is far more troubling. In 2015, the Jacksonville Jaguars’ issue was finishing games. They got close and then fizzled.
