Nintendo Switch 2 players won’t have to wait much longer to return to Cyrodiil. Bethesda has officially confirmed that The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered will launch on the console on August 11, with both digital and physical editions arriving on the same day. Better yet, the physical version includes the complete base game on the cartridge, so there is no Game-Key Card and no extra download needed to play.

Steam Machine’s official prices were already higher than many people expected because of the global memory shortage. However, the resale market has pushed prices much higher as limited launch stock and strong demand continue to drive up costs. The standard Steam Machine starts at $1,049 from Valve, but many scalpers are already asking at least $1,700 on sites like eBay.

Xbox appears to be taking a step back with Game Pass, at least for now. Reports suggest that Microsoft has paused negotiations for new third-party games joining the subscription service while it reviews its wider business strategy. The company has not officially confirmed the reports, but the information comes from The Business of Video Games Podcast (Episode 59), co-hosted by Arrowhead Game Studios CEO Shams Jorjani.
