BLOOMINGTON — The Indiana Hoosiers decisively won their first Rose Bowl in more than 60 years since their first appearance, with a crowd full of fans and alumni watching. Those fans came back to Indiana from Pasadena with souvenirs and unforgettable memories. The first wave of Hoosier fans arrived at Indianapolis International Airport late Friday morning, less than 24 hours after the Hoosiers' 38-3 victory over Alabama.

BLOOMINGTON — Generations of Hoosier fans have waited for the football team to make it back to the Rose Bowl for the first time since 1968. Some decided to celebrate IU's great return around others wearing cream and crimson. The Upstairs Pub on Kirkwood Avenue became one of the most popular spots to watch Indiana take on Alabama. The bar opened its doors at 9 a.m. for the 4 p.m. kickoff and the pub became crowded an hour before the game.

BLOOMINGTON — The First Christian Church congregation has waited to worship on Kirkwood Avenue again after a devastating fire three months ago. They can now come back to the building on Sundays, even though the sanctuary remains closed. First Christian Church held services inside its Great Hall on Christmas Eve and will continue to do so every Sunday going forward. It was the first time they worshiped inside the church since it caught fire on Oct. 1.
