The access that listeners have been granted to most of their favorite artists' lives through social media has created a more substantial relationship between consumer and creator. We are now able to get previews of new music straight from their studio sessions, go on car rides with them on Instagram Live, and vicariously live through their other daily outings.

What’s HUF been up to recently? Did they really sell the company to some Asian gangsters? Is Keith Hufnagel on the beach sipping Pina Colada’s? Is the weed sock trend ever going to return? I don’t have the answers to all of those questions, but I do know they did infact merge with another company and that the ship is going strong again, with their first move of the year collaborating with NYC artist, Yoon Hyup. (No, not the Berries 😉 camera dude).

Every year we try to team up with KCDC and friends to host Skate Night, the party that brings skateboarders out of hibernation every winter to remind them that New York is still the best skate city. This year RVCA supported the entire shindig and their guys — Spanky, Curren Caples, and Reynolds — joined us to skate the Coda miniramp.
