The Sword Art Online anime series announced a new original movie, titled Sword Art Online: Integral Domain and slated to premiere in 2028. A-1 Pictures is animating the movie under its Psyde Kick label. Shingo Adachi, who did the character designs for Sword Art Online TV anime and had his directorial debut with Lycoris Recoil original anime, will be directing the Integral Domain movie. Yumiko Yamamoto (Yohane the Parhelion: Sunshine in the Mirror) is doing the character designs.

The upcoming Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 anime revealed a new teaser trailer and visual ahead of the fall 2026 premiere on Netflix. The main cast was also revealed and includes: Kentaro Tone as Weak Kingsley Koki Uchiyama as D Momoka Terasawa as Roman Carax Akari Kito as Talia Yang TRIGGER is animating the series that will feature a new crew and be set in the Night City. Kai Ikarashi is the director. The new series will have 10 episodes.
