Abstract This study investigates the effects of mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI) on gait in Yucatan minipigs, a relevant animal model for assessing balance impairments after TBI. Retro-reflective markers were placed on different anatomical locations on the pig, and eight motion capture cameras were set up along the sides of the pig walking path to capture natural gait data. Pigs were tested both before and after induced head injury, allowing for direct comparison of gait alterations.

1 Introduction In 1970, the United States' Congress signed into law the Poison Prevention Packaging Act (PPPA). This act required many medications and hazardous substances to be stored in ‘special packaging’.

The goal of this research was to evaluate how material curl, package structure and handling of pouches containing medical devices affect rates of contact between non-sterile surfaces and sterile devices during aseptic transfer. One hundred and thirty-six individuals with practical experience in aseptic technique were recruited.
