Functional Medicine lab testing differs from traditional blood work. Here’s how.. In these uncertain times, many patients are advocating for themselves. They want to know what is really causing their medical issues and if they find the right practitioner who is willing to do more extensive testing like nutrient levels, they are more likely to get the answers they are looking for. There is a growing interest in integrative and functional medicine, which often includes this type of medical testing.

Since the outbreak of COVID-19, patients have asked me about my opinion regarding COVID-19 risks, whether there is anything to do for prevention and whether kids should go back to school. I have been clear from the beginning of the pandemic that social distancing and mask wearing are keys to decreasing the spread of this virus.
