Harley is a senior in her third year of Wingspan and is so excited to be working with all of the amazing staff. Harley is Varsity cheer captain, StuCo vice president, Best Buddies vice president, and involved in many other clubs and organizations on and off campus. In her free time she loves watching movies, reading, and spending time outdoors. Previously she has held the role of Sports Editor and is so excited to continue writing.

“…AND NO AI!” Students are often warned not to use artificial intelligence in their assignments. At first glance, the rule makes perfect sense. We should be thinking for ourselves, and that includes solving our own math problems and writing our own essays. After all, school is about learning through trial and error. However, the topic becomes more complex when you consider that teachers are often allowed to use AI in different ways. In fact, many teachers use AI to create assignments or grade tests.

Need a quick boost of energy in the middle of the school day? Well, this week, you might be able to pick up a free paleta courtesy during advisory in the gym! Courtesy of the PTSA, these paletas (or crushed fruit frozen popsicles) will be individually wrapped and won’t contain any dairy or additives. “I plan on going because it sounds like a really cool event, you can hang out with your friends, and you get free paletas,” freshman Ananya Yanne said.
