A case of meningitis has been confirmed at the University of Surrey, with public health officials providing advice to students. The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) said it was working with partners to arrange preventative antibiotics and vaccinations for close contacts, adding that there was no evidence the case is linked to any previous infections or outbreaks.
