4.1. Space Use The distribution of carnivores in general is essentially determined by the spatial arrangement of their prey [13,22]. However, in the Himalayas, habitat and elevation also have a significant impact on how carnivores utilise their surroundings. In the Prek catchment of the KBR, felids were dispersed according to several habitats dictated by severe elevation gradients with a considerable amount of overlap among their ranges.
