Tara McKelvey’s Biography

I served as the White House correspondent for the BBC, traveling around the world with Biden and Trump. Currently, I’m an editor at Radio Free Asia and a contributor to the New York Times Book Review. I was a fellow at Princeton University , and I’m now a Yale lecturer. My writing about the CIA has received a Guggenheim, and I’m the author of an acclaimed book, Monstering, about the torture of prisoners at Abu Ghraib (Basic Books).
