What was your first job as a journalist?
As a photojournalist for the University of Cincinnati student news organization, The News Record.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
To be true, fair, and transparent. All else is secondary. A person lacking these principles is not a journalist.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
I shoot primarily on Canon's mirrorless systems and use Adobe Lightroom, Photo Mechanic, and Digital Photo Professional 4.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
My photo story "The unseen work behind UC Homecoming Parade;" I shot this just months after starting college and joining The News Record.
