Florida State's men's basketball team had a disappointing showing when it lost to California by a score of 77-68 on Wednesday night. The Seminoles thought this could be an outside shot to make the NCAA Tournament after their coming into the west coast slate with a 13-5 record. However, much like the California game, Florida State could not get a stop on defense, where they lost to Stanford by a score of 78-71. The Cardinal shot well from three-point range, where they combined 11/24 from deep.

Florida State's men's basketball program traveled to Louisville, Kentucky, to face the No. 25 ranked Cardinals. The Seminoles were winners of three of their past four games over Miami, Wake Forest, and Notre Dame. The blowout loss to Clemson at home is sandwiched between them. Unfortunately, Florida State lost to Louisville by a score of 89-81 on Saturday afternoon. Guard Chucky Hepburn had 29 points.

Florida State basketball is in must-win mode as the Seminoles lost to Clemson on the road by a score of 77-57. The Seminoles currently have an 11-5 record and are 2-3 in conference. I am not saying that Florida State should have beaten Clemson on the road, but the Seminoles were projected to be in a closer game. Unfortunately, the Seminoles did not get the job done where Florida State shot 25% from three-point range.
