The public hearing for the 300-unit, multifamily 40B housing project proposed for Bournedale, known as Deerpath Village, has been continued once again. The project proponent requested that the hearing be continued to Friday, July 15, during a meeting of the Zoning Board of Appeals on June 17. Attorney Peter Freeman, representing the applicant, Olivia Grace LLC, said there are two reasons for the continuances.

The zoning board of appeals dismissed a request for a variance to allow for a 48x60-foot garage to be constructed to house a recreational vehicle (RV) on Barlows Landing Road during a meeting held on June 17. General Contractor Jonathan Thomson, who spoke on behalf of the property owner Kimberly Loftus, said that they requested the variance due to the proposed accessory structure being over 30% of the total gross floor area.

The Bourne Conservation Commission closed the public hearing regarding a temporary closure of a section of the canal shared-use path due to the construction of the new Sagamore bridges during a meeting held on June 18.
