M-dwarfs are popular for habitable planet searches, but heightened flare rates may be detrimental for life. We need to know where they occur on the star to fully understand their threat. We propose a new method of locating flares by observing a flare occulted by a transiting planet or eclipsing binary. This would allow us to determine its latitude. We have developed a simulation to predict the occultation geometry and the probability of such an event.
