Tomas D'Anella’s Biography

Tomas is an 18-year old writer attending Southern Utah University studying to become a Sports Writer. He was a part of his high school's Journalism program for three years, increasing his role each year. As a sophomore, he started as a staff writer. The next year, he adopted the role as the Assistant Editor, helping his program create their first print edition of their paper. In his Senior Year, Tomas was named Editor-in-Chief and helped his advisor keep a steady flow of production.
His journalistic accolades include two front cover articles, and winning 3rd in his state in Best Sports Writing, presented by Utah College Media Alliance.
