Field Hockey Earns Fourth Straight Victory; Camryn Logs 100th Career Point 9/13/2025 4:23:00 PM | Field Hockey Hamilton, N.Y. – Central Michigan Field Hockey defeated Long Island Saturday 9-6, in a neutral site game hosted by Colgate to earn their second straight weekend sweep. The Chippewas have now won four games in a row, the last time CMU has achieved that feat was in 2009, where the team outscored their opponents, 11-3. Over the latest four game stretch, CMU has outscored opponents 17-8.

PHILADELPHIA – Drexel field hockey opened the 2025 season with a 2-1 victory over Central Michigan on Friday afternoon at Buckley Field. Marti Sanabria scored once and assisted on another, while Valentine Van Hellemont added the Dragons' second goal. HOW IT HAPPENED Sanabria put Drexel on the board in the 13th minute with an unassisted strike to give the Dragons the early lead. She then set up Van Hellemont in the 28th minute to double the advantage heading into halftime.

PHILADELPHIA— The Central Michigan Field Hockey team lost it's season opener at Drexel 2-1 Friday. Carolena Ryon earned the Chippewas a spot on the board netting a goal with 10 seconds remaining. The goal, coming from a corner set up by Teah Savignano and freshman Mora Rulli, came after three cards in quick succession on Drexel. In the final four minutes, Drexel collected two green cards before receiving a yellow with just over 30 seconds remaining in regulation.
