Keep your investment strategy steady in volatile times
Investment markets are in a challenging period in which large swaths of the stock and bond market have lost value. You may have noticed the impact of this on your own workplace retirement savings plans, such as 401(k) or 403(b) accounts. While watching the value of your portfolio drop is never easy, investors must understand that markets can be volatile over short periods. Variable investments such as stocks and bonds don’t move in a straight line — and occasional cooldowns are inevitable.

Updated Definitions of Insanity
Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and it resulting in a baby. Insanity is feeding the same thing over and over again and it growing into a toddler. Insanity is cells dividing over and over again until that toddler becomes a child who barely makes the cut-off date for kindergarten registration. Insanity is filling out the same forms over and over again and somehow kindergarten registration still isn’t complete I guess?

JIM LUTZ: Good morning, neighbors, and thank you to all … let’s see … eight of you for gathering here today in this undeveloped, appallingly overgrown cul-de-sac! For those of you who don’t know me—and even for those of you who do [laughs]—my name is Jim Lutz, and I am the president of the Pleasant Meadows Estates’ Homeowners Association, or PME HOA for short. FELICIA THE VEGAN: We don’t have a homeowners association. JIM: [laughs] Well, not officially, no.
Dangerous Radical Group A Threat to America
Warning: A powerful, dangerous radical group is threatening America. This group is doing everything in its power to make it easier for the most vicious people in our country to get their hands on the most lethal military weapons. This group has even gone so far as to defend and support the right of potential terrorists to own assault weapons — people menacing enough to find themselves on the No Fly List implemented by President Bush.

The Apollo Theater's Legacy at 80
From its inception 80 years ago this Sunday, the Apollo Theater probably exerted a greater influence on popular culture than any other entertainment venue in the world.
