These days, now more than ever, seniors are the target of digital and online scams that are doing heartbreaking damage to families across the country. Knowing how sophisticated hackers and scammers are becoming, I understand how easy it is to fall victim to a scam phone call or email when you don’t have the proper understanding and knowledge of what to look for first. Last month was Cybersecurity Awareness Month, but being aware of how to protect yourself is important year-round.
