NEW YORK — BTS may have wrapped up its New York-area concerts, but fans still have a chance to immerse themselves in the group’s music and visuals. Through Aug. 14, Arte Museum New York is hosting “ARTE MUSEUM & BTS THE CITY ARIRANG,” an immersive exhibition that combines the music of BTS’ “ARIRANG” album with large-scale digital art installations. The exhibition is part of “BTS THE CITY ARIRANG NEW YORK,” a citywide project connected to the group’s long-awaited comeback.

New York City public school students will start school later than usual this year. The first day of public school in New York City is Thursday, Sept. 10 — much later than years past. That’s because Labor Day is later this year. According to New York state law and staff contracts, the public school year for New York City schools must start after Labor Day in September. Since Labor Day is Monday, Sept. 7, it pushes the school year start date to that week.

Little League International’s disqualification of a Tulsa team in the Southwest Region was upheld by a Texas judge on Tuesday, prohibiting the team from playing in Tuesday’s championship game for a berth in the Little League Baseball World Series.
