Jean-Paul Guillet’s Biography
Read Full Bio →I am associate professor at the University of Bordeaux, in the IMS Laboratory. I am head of the laser and terahertz test team.
Terahertz band is between microwave and infrared, from 100 GHz to 30 THz. These waves can penetrate dielectric objects, si there are many applications like a non-destructive test of composite materials, art painting analysis, biomedical application etc. We can do spectroscopy, imaging and 3D tomography to reconstruct samples using terahertz waves.
