What was your first job as a journalist?
Radio reporter, writer and announcer.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
You need to have a good eye for detail, be a good listener, researcher, communicator and storyteller.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
I like to know what I will learn or discover and why the destination will resonate with my readers.

I truly enjoy exploring the world, writing and sharing my experiences. It fulfills me.

Yes, I did. Graphics and reporter for clubs and organizations.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
Unveiling the Mystery of Medical Tourism in Turkiye.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
It's not as easy as you'd think. Be persistent and have thick skin.
When's the best time to pitch you?
It's usually best to reach out to me early afternoon.
What's the worst pitch you ever got?
A destination invited me to come to their city but was not able to pay for my car transportation or food while visiting.
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
Packing or unpacking.
