This home story began long before its remodel. It began with a ladder in the middle of a field. Twenty years ago, when the house was originally built by Lakeside Luxury Homes (formerly Lakeside Development Co.), the homeowners wanted it to feel like a genuine turn-of-the-century farmstead. To find the perfect location for the home, builder Scott Humber climbed a ladder on the property and surveyed the landscape from above.
