Classic car enthusiasts have several remaining opportunities this summer to check out vintage vehicles in Livingston County, with two recurring meetups and a festival show drawing crowds through September. Three witnesses described alleged billing irregularities and troublesome workplace practices during a hearing for Oxford Center CEO Tamela Peterson on July 8. The witnesses were called during a preliminary examination, which began May 29 in Livingston County's 53rd District Court. Peterson was arraigned in January on nine charges of healthcare fraud for alleged false claims at the organization's center in Brighton.

I'm very proud of my work covering the Gaylord tornado and my interview with Governor Whitmer.

What's the most common misperception about your beat?

I myself thought the business beat would be mostly dry, economic content, but it has turned out to be very interesting, unique and diverse.
