Introduction Louis Heathcote is a professional snooker player based in Leicester. He first came onto the scene by reaching the final of the 2015 European Under-21 Snooker Championships in Malta at just 17 years old. Despite beating Chris Totten, Brian Cini and Dylan Craig, he came unstuck against Manx Darryl Hill 6-3. After four years of working his way through the amateur ranks, Heathcote finally became a professional at 21 years old in 2019.

There isn’t a need for an introduction for this countdown. I look at some of the best-looking trophies. The obvious contenders belong to the events of the Triple Crown. The prestige of these events or the champion might influence how we view these trophies, but they are exquisite. For me, The Paul Hunter Trophy (Masters) is more exquisite than the World Championship and the UK Championship trophies.

Many of us have been scrambling around for something to do during another lockdown. We all try and occupy ourselves with work, sport, volunteering and unusual hobbies to keep ourselves staying sane. We have also looked out for each other more and it’s fantastic to see people raising money for charitable causes. This includes folk in the world of snooker!
