1 Introduction Wired glass is a composite material consisting of a steel wire mesh sandwiched between two annealed soda lime glass sheets, as illustrated in Figure 1. Commonly there are visible gaps between the wire and the surrounding glass. It was originally designed as a fire barrier material, in which the mesh holds the broken glass together when the glass is subjected to disintegration due to thermal shocks.

Seton Hall University is thrilled to announce Hall Homecoming and Family Weekend 2025, taking place from Friday, October 3 through Sunday, October 5. This signature fall celebration is designed to bring together alumni, parents, families, students, faculty, staff and the surrounding South Orange community for a weekend filled with fun, connection and Pirate Pride.

This year's Giving Day at Seton Hall, held on April 9 and 10, proved to be another incredible success. Led by University Advancement in collaboration with teams across the institution—including the Pirate Blue Athletic Fund and Seton Hall Law—the initiative set a record and contributed to yet another historic year. Surpassing its goal of 1,856 donors (a nod to the University's founding year), Giving Day raised over $2.2 million from 2,070 Pirates and Seton Hall Community members.
