Reconciliation Is the Real Work: Rebuilding the Data Layer of the Indian Family Office
Manish Jain, Co-Founder and Head of Strategic Alliances at MProfit, discusses how technology is reshaping the data infrastructure of India’s fast-growing family office sector. He explores the shift beyond Excel, the importance of accurate reconciliation, the potential for platforms to help advisers serve more clients effectively, and where the boundary should remain between artificial intelligence and human judgement.
No Relationship Is Inherited: Thomas Stephen on Hiring for the Client of the Next Decade
One sentence cut through an hour of discussion at the Hubbis India Wealth Management Forum 2026 in Mumbai, and it came early. Asked what an adviser must be to hold the attention of a client who has already researched the firm before walking in, Thomas Stephen, Director and Head of Anand Rathi Preferred at Anand Rathi Share and Stock Brokers, began not with capability or platform but with a premise about the business itself. "Any relationships are actually earned," he said.
From Market Noise to Portfolio Precision: BNY Investments on Building Wealth in a More Demanding Cycle
Markets may have absorbed the worst of the latest energy shock, but the investment environment has hardly become simpler. At a Hubbis-hosted luncheon in Manila held in partnership with BNY Investments, senior investment and wealth management professionals considered a cycle in which inflation remains difficult to dismiss, artificial intelligence (AI) is driving both investment and market volatility, and established portfolio assumptions are being tested.

Hybrid Advice for a Globalised Client Base: AI, Private Markets and Cross-Border Wealth Strategies
In his contribution to the India Private Wealth Management Outlook 2026, Thomas Stephen, Director & Head at Anand Rathi Preferred, discusses how evolving UHNW and HNW client expectations are reshaping advisory models around global diversification, private markets, and technology-enabled personalisation.

Client-Centricity, Education, and Empathy: Inside Anand Rathi’s Preferred Strategy
India’s wealth management landscape is evolving at speed, driven by rising affluence, regulatory digitisation, and the growing need for trustworthy, tailored advice. In this dynamic context, Anand Rathi Preferred, a business unit under the broader Anand Rathi Group umbrella, is taking a decidedly client-first approach, anchored in asset allocation, investor education, and human connection.

The Large Hadron Collider at CERN restarted in 2015 with a higher centre-of-mass energy of 13TeV. The instantaneous luminosity is expected to increase significantly in the coming years. An upgraded Level-1 trigger system has been deployed in the Compact Muon Solenoid experiment, in order to maintain the same efficiencies for searches and precision measurements as those achieved in the previous run.

The CMS Level-1 calorimeter trigger is being upgraded in two stages to maintain performance as the LHC increases pile-up and instantaneous luminosity in its second run. In the first stage, improved algorithms including event-by-event pile-up corrections are used. New algorithms for heavy ion running have also been developed. In the second stage, higher granularity inputs and a time-multiplexed approach allow for improved position and energy resolution.

From 2009 to 2012, the Large Hadron Collider has been colliding proton beams at centre-of-mass energies from 900 GeV to 8 TeV. The particles produced from these collisions have been recorded using the Compact Muon Solenoid (CMS) detector, with the purpose of investigating the predictions of the Standard Model of particle physics, and searching for phenomena predicted by theories of physics beyond the Standard Model.

The ATCA and uTCA standards include industry-standard data pathway technologies such as Gigabit Ethernet which can be used for control communication, but no specific hardware control protocol is defined. The IPbus suite of software and firmware implements a reliable high-performance control link for particle physics electronics, and has successfully replaced VME control in several large projects.
Committee on Interior and Insular Affairs, 2nd Session, 92nd Congress
Collection of the U.S. House of Representatives The Committee on Interior and Insular Affairs’ Members sat for a photograph in 1972 with the committee staff. Jurisdiction included U.S. territories, and committee member Phillip Burton had introduced legislation the previous year to grant Guam and the U.S. Virgin Islands Delegates in Congress. Other committee members included Wayne Aspinall, Thomas Foley, Morris Udall, and Patsy Mink.
House Speaker Tom Foley's Dog Alice
Object Details Alice the dog was a frequent visitor to the Capitol. Speaker of the House Tom Foley of Washington rescued the Belgian shepherd from John F. Kennedy Airport in New York, where she had been left unclaimed in an animal holding area. From that time forward, Alice was a fixture around the Capitol, once moseying into a televised press conference, and she later appeared in Foley’s campaign ads.
