Social media questions the credibility and validity of a journalist. And really questions the necessity of a journalist in the 21st century
What does it mean to be a journalist?
To be the voice of the voiceless. To be the provider of information, free from bias and fair that would help preserve the democratic process

Why did you become a journalist?
In Jamaican colloquial terms “Me love chat and me very nuff”. I have an enquiring mind plus there needs to be more investigative journalism
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
My high school unfortunately didn’t have a paper
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
My article titled “I don’t like Jamaica.” It resonated well with Jamaicans, and highlights the problem that most Jamaicans are not proud
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Keep being the beacon. Keep sharing the stories. Remain enthusiastic
When's the best time to pitch you?
Early morning, anytime between 9am-1pm
What's your favorite drink?
Water, easily. Or a strawberry daiquiri
When you're not at a computer, where are you most likely to be?
On social media searching for stories or reading news on my phone
