1. Introduction Atrioventricular nodal reentry tachycardia (AVNRT) is the most common paroxysmal supraventricular tachycardia (SVT) in adolescents and adults. Catheter ablation is the treatment of choice for symptomatic AVNRT patients. However, the endpoint of the procedure is still not unequivocally established [1]. Catheter ablation for SVT in general, and AVNRT in particular, is the current treatment of choice for symptomatic patients because it substantially improves quality of life [2].
