Plainville, MA — Following fast early fractions, Hey Porter did his best work late and won the $25,000 Open trotting feature at Plainridge Park on Tuesday (June 30) afternoon. Hey Porter Hey Porter (Brett Beckwith) got away fourth as Pepper Wow (Mitchell Cushing) stepped sharply in :26.3 and :55.1 over the rain soaked surface. As the race moved onto the backstretch, the outer-flow formed and the action began to pick up.

Plainville, MA — Following second-over in a live outer flow, Checkpoint Chatter (Always A Virgin) used her usual late kick to win the $17,000 filly and mare featured pace at Plainridge Park on Monday (June 29) afternoon. Checkpoint Chatter Chakra (Matty Athearn) left sharply from post eight and was commander of fractions for most of the mile.
