Should adults drink milk ? I'm not sure the evidence justifies recommending it. Humans started drinking cow's milk 10,000 years ago when they had to migrate huge distances without food. It was a useful survival method. However, we're no longer under those pressures, and drinking milk is simply not part of our blueprint. Two-thirds of the world's adult population doesn't even have the gene required to digest it and humans remain the only mammal to drink it past infancy.
