PRODUCTIVITY & HEALTH Sitting in a chair all day can send you to an early grave. Living a sedentary lifestyle has been linked with a doubled chance of early mortality. These statistics and studies scare the shit out of me. My job as a lawyer is sedentary. My sorry ass is glued to a desk chair for 12 hours a day, 80 hours a week. My body isn't getting any younger. Back and neck pain galore. I take breaks every hour, and I switch between standing and sitting occasionally.
