Tim Donovan:
"The Competitive Advantage Architect™"

Tim Donovan founder and CEO of Advanced Innovation Managers, Inc is a management thought leader who has become the "Competitive Advantage Architect™." He helps busy business leaders create Organizations that will allow them to make more money in the global marketplace. This is done by identifying, defining and implementing an innovative organization which allows them to identify their competitive advantage to help minimize any competitor impacts to their organization. Tim is a consultant, speaker and author on:
- Management and leadership education and coaching
- Strategic and tactical business planning and implementation
- Enterprise Architecture planning and implementation,

Tim earned his Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a major in Management from Southern New Hampshire University. His undergraduate degree is a Bachelors of Business Administration (BBA) with a major in Management from the University of Central Oklahoma. Tim has also completed three quarters of Doctoral Education from Walden University, completing classes in Project Management, Management of Information Systems, Doctoral Research Methodologies and Philosophy.
Tim was a member of the U.S. Army for almost 11years, assigned to a number of different units. He was stationed in units from Europe to Asia. The units he served in ranged from light infantry to heavy maintenance. Tim honed his leadership skills in the trenches with these units. Tim graduated in the top 4% of his class from the 7th Army Non-Commissioned Officer's Academy. In addition Tim was trained as a Military Instructor and taught a number of classes from electronic maintenance, Leadership and military skills. Tim has commanded Platoons of up to 60 people. He ran the shop for consisting of about 40 people in an electronic repair facility.
After separating from the US Army he worked with AT&T, and Hewlett Packard. He served in many different Leadership and technical leadership roles while working for these companies. Tim has been a program manager responsible for over 66 projects in flight while implementing a Cycle Time Reduction Program at ATT. Tim was a consultant with Hewlett Packard and managed many engagements and helped HP win some major outsourcing deals while employed there.
Tim successfully started and ran a consulting Company in NJ for 4 years, and is currently starting his 2nd consulting Company in FL. Tim was also an Adjunct Professor for New Jersey Institute of Technology in the Graduate Computer Science Degree Program for 6 years. Tim has published articles in management and technology, as well as presented many seminars to various organizations on business, leadership and technology topics.
His honors include earning the rank of Eagle Scout as a boy, earned his Certified Production Inventory Management (CPIM) from APICS in 1987, earning certification in the TOGAF Version 8 & 9 Enterprise Architecture Framework Methodology, being the top sales team in the Lexington Sales office of AT&T, and was selected into the Top Performers Club at Hewlett Packard. Tim has recently received the honor of being selected to Strathmore’s Who's Who list for his business knowledge and Leadership skills. He was also selected by the top 100 magazine’s Who’s Who list for Outstanding Career achievements and exemplary Leadership Skills. Tim is a member of the Knights of Columbus, IEEE, American Legion, Institute of Management Consultants and Association of Talent Development (ATD, formerly ASTD.) Tim is Married and has 3 children and 5 grandchildren. He currently practices out of Wesley Chapel FL.
