Timothy Dahl is an editor, publisher, and commerce content strategist specializing in home improvement, DIY, tools, consumer products, and audience growth.
His work has appeared in publications including Good Housekeeping, Popular Mechanics, Lifehacker, Yahoo, ELLE Decor, and The New York Times. Throughout his career, he has helped build trusted content brands, grow organic audiences, and create commerce content that helps readers make informed buying decisions.
Timothy founded Charles & Hudson, a leading home improvement and DIY media brand, and Built by Kids, the Webby-nominated maker and parenting site (both were acquired in 2025). He currently publishes Builder Playbook, a newsletter and content platform serving the home building industry.
