What was your first job as a journalist?

I wrote for the local news publication in the city where I grew up, My Burbank News. I even stepped in for the photographer at times.

Why did you become a journalist?

My passion for journalism is fueled by my empathy, curiosity, and integrity to report the truth for the good of others.

Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?

Throughout all four years of high school, I wrote for the school paper. During my junior and senior years, I was the features editor.
