SA faces long and winding road
It is probably trite to say this was a very difficult year. This university, like most universities in South Africa, experienced one of the longest student protests in years. The Wits #FeesMustFall campaign captured the attention of this country and the world for a number of weeks. ECONOMIC POLICY: Guard 1994 gains
THOUGH many challenges remain to make SA a US$2 trillion GDP economy by 2030, it can be done. It should also avoid wastage, hostility to the investment community and destructive microeconomic policies. The road we have traversed thus far has been long and hard.

I am still human. I cry, I get angry, make mistakes, apologise, reflect, meditate, and seek to do better for myself and my fellow human beings. I was a student at the National University of Lesotho in 1982.
There is a way to put paid to Lesotho’s political troubles
There is a way to put paid to Lesotho’s political troubles There is a way to put paid to Lesotho’s political troubles LESOTHO has been in the news of late. And it is not good news, I am afraid. In summary, after the general elections of May 26 2012, there was no conclusive winner to form a government alone. A coalition of "convenience" was cobbled together with the leader of the All Basotho Convention as prime minister (the party holds 30 seats).
