Abstract This paper investigates China’s coercive diplomacy during the 2022 Taiwan Strait Crisis. Using quantitative natural language processing techniques, we unveil the key emotional, operational, and semantic characteristics of China’s propaganda campaigns during Pelosi’s Taiwan visit.
