That would be in university, working for my department's newspaper outfit.

Nope.
How is social media changing news?
It's making news easily accessible, and faster, too. It's also making it easy for misinformation to thrive.
Who's your favorite fictional journalist?
Ah! My favorite fictional journalist is probably Peter Parker, for his combination of responsibility and humility.
What does it mean to be a journalist?
To be a journalist is to be responsible for disseminating information and truth, be it about a person, an event, or a location.
What's the funniest news-related #hashtag you've seen?
I can't recall. I'll update when I do.
How do you prefer to be pitched on stories?
Straight to the point.
What tools and software do you use to do your job?
Gmail, Microsoft Word, Google Docs, ChatGPT and Bard, Grammarly - and many more

Definitely Barack Obama. I adore him.
Why did you become a journalist?
I've always loved to write. I've also always been passionate about informing people. These passions naturally led to a career in journalism.
Did you work for your high school newspaper? If so, what did you do there?
I didn't. But I worked for my department's newspaper while I was an undergraduate. I wrote informative pieces and conducted interviews.
What story are you most proud of writing or working on?
I am most proud of my profile articles about female business leaders across Africa. It enlightened me about their struggles.
What advice can you offer to aspiring journalists?
Champion truth.
When's the best time to pitch you?
Late at night. I usually feel most creative then.

I haven't had one yet.
