The people of Gaza are staring down the barrel of total annihilation by Israel. For the last 22 months, what can only be described as the crime of the century has unfolded before our eyes, and yet, while we look in horror at the emaciated bodies of little babies, cradled in the arms of their grieving mothers, the Australian government offers nothing but weasel words and diplomatic doublespeak, while actively arming those responsible. What they need is urgent action.

Abstract Phase-matching of the third-harmonic generation process can be used to extend the emission of radiation from Kerr microresonators into new spectral regions far from the pump wavelength. Here, we present a theoretical mean-field model for optical frequency combs in a dissipative and nonlinear χ(3)-based cavity system with parametric coupling between fundamental and third-harmonic waves.
