OverActive Media Repeats Going-Concern Warning as Revenue Falls 40%

OverActive Media shares fell 35% to a 52-week low Thursday, a day after the Toronto esports company reported a 40% drop in second-quarter revenue and repeated, for the second consecutive quarter, that its cash is not sufficient to fund its planned operations for the next 12 months. According to the company’s Aug. 26 release, second-quarter revenue was C$5.03 million CAD ($3.63 million USD), down from C$8.36 million ($6.03 million) a year earlier.
