Authorities believe fire set at Springfield playground was arson

SPRINGFIELD – Authorities are seeking information about a group of juveniles who allegedly committed arson, burning and destroying the centerpiece of a playground. Authorities have made no arrests in fire that was reported at Jaycee Park around 5 p.m. on June 1, when the Springfield Fire Department arrived to extinguish it.
