Summary Senior lawyers hold a unique responsibility to model professionalism, civility, and integrity at a time when public trust in institutions is strained, and polarization is widespread. Ethical legacy is not defined by past achievements alone but by daily conduct, mentorship, and intentionally passing the torch of values to the next generation of lawyers.
I deal in rare vintage Rolexes. Fakery is getting worse
Without a doubt, Rolex is the greatest wristwatch company ever to have existed and it means more to me than any other. My father always wore one, and buying and selling one for a profit in the late 1980s set me on a path to make millions in the vintage watch business. But despite my affection for Rolex, as I now look back on my life at the sharp end of the trade, I can see that not all is well in the state of Switzerland. Fakery and unscrupulousness were always part of the watch business.
My film star mum claims I witnessed Burt Reynolds murder her lover
When we think of the great on-set tales from Hollywood history, many of us hold them at a distance, treating them like myths and legends populated by stars who feel so removed from our own lives that they might as well be fictional. 4 Steps to Take After a Data Breach at Your Company
One of the scariest nightmares business owners have is experiencing a data breach at their company. Whether a small business or a multinational corporation, no one wants their customers to think their information can’t be trusted with your business. A data breach is the release of secure or private information to an untrusted environment. Data breaches can be intentional, like a hacker attacking the system, or unintentional, like a company employee losing his laptop.
How to Protect Your Business Against Data Breaches
As long as businesses continue to rely on the internet and digital technology for data storage and communication, there is going to be some risk of those systems being compromised and sensitive data being compromised. These technologies certainly aren’t going anywhere, so the onus is on business owners to do everything in their power to protect their business against these potential breaches and to keep confidential information just that—confidential.

Choosing the right broker to work with you on a commercial real estate deal is an important decision, one that will go a long way toward determining how smoothly your transaction will go. A professional commercial broker will help you navigate the process, cutting down on delays and expenses and helping you avoid some of the risks you might encounter if you were to attempt to go through the process on your own.
