Rumour: Watch Dogs Legion to Receive Surprise PS5 Remake Next Year | Push Square
There were some great ideas in Watch Dogs Legion, but it didn’t really come together quite like publisher Ubisoft planned. I think I liked this game more than most, but I can fully understand its detractors. The release’s gimmick of recruiting any NPC quickly became repetitive, and the whole concept stripped it of personality and narrative energy It seems the French publisher is not giving up on the concept just yet, though.
Rumour: Rayman Legends Remake May Be Announced This Summer | Push Square
Uh oh, we're getting close to the video game silly season, and summertime rumours are starting to emerge. One new whisper on the wind is that of a possible remake of Rayman Legends, Ubisoft's vibrant side-scrolling platformer. This comes from Insider Gaming's Tom Henderson, who is generally pretty reliable. Speaking on a recent episode of the website's podcast, he casually mentions the remake's existence.
Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced details leak before today’s big reveal
Later today, Ubisoft will be holding an online showcase for Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced, but we already have a couple of details about the game. Amazon France jumped the gun early and posted the collector’s edition for pre-order. They have since removed the pre-order but left the listing online so we can see what will be in the pack. There is a rather fine statue of Edward Kenway loafing on a throne, a very fancy faux-leather folio with what appear to be notes from expeditions, and a map.
PS5's Fairgames Is a Free-to-Play Extraction Shooter, and It's Not Dead Yet | Push Square
We’re trying hard not to be too cynical until we’ve seen fresh gameplay footage, but you’ve got to ask what’s going on with PS Studios’ portfolio building these days. Fresh from the muted release of Marathon – an extraction shooter with an eye-watering budget and Bungie talent behind it – Sony studio Haven is continuing to plug away at Fairgames, which sounds like… Well, an extraction shooter.
Rumour: A God of War PS5 Prequel Not Starring Kratos Will Take Us to Multiple Mythologies | Push Square
There have been a lot of rumours circulating about the future of the God of War franchise, and one concerning a spinoff prequel refuses to die down. Speaking on the Insider Gaming podcast, Henderson briefly touches on the Uncharted series, stating that the studio has «floated» a new game more than once. Recently, a photo from a research trip caused a small amount of buzz, with some suggesting it points to a new Uncharted game being in the works.
Assassin's Creed Black Flag Remake Touted to Anchor PS5's Summer, Reveal Next Week | Push Square
What’s your favourite Assassin’s Creed game? The excellent Assassin’s Creed 4: Black Flag, a PS4 launch game, has got to be up there, right? Edward Kenway’s adventure had a cool mix of traditional stealth action and nautical adventuring, and who doesn’t like pirates at the end of the day? In this One Piece obsessed world, we can’t blame Ubisoft for giving the game another go.

Australian Classification has rated the unannounced Rayman 30th Anniversary Edition for PlayStation 5 and Switch. The developer and publisher are listed as Atari, while the applicant is listed as U&I Entertainment. Beyond Good & Evil 2 continues to be talked about
It’s been a while since Beyond Good & Evil 2 was announced. And for good reason, the first timeUbisoft mentioned it was in 2008. Since this first announcement, the long-awaited title has shown very little, so many of you no longer really believe in its existence or fear the result during a possible release, especially since the announcement of the departure of Michel Ancel. But first he would have to come out, wouldn’t he? Which should most likely be expected.
The Assassin's Creed Title Not Yet Officially Revealed by Ubisoft
Ubisoft Forward was a great event for AC fans, with the publisher officially revealing not one, but five brand-new Assassin’s Creed titles that are in development. Assassin’s Creed Mirage is the first title set to be released, with Assassin’s Creed Red, Assassin’s Creed Hexe, Assassin’s Creed Invictus (mutliplayer), and Assassin’s Creed Jade (mobile) set to release sometime in the future. The implementation of discord on the console has been in the QA phase for the past couple of months with progress on the app reportedly “going very well”.
The Last Of Us Part I Remake Footage And Screenshots Leaked
The Last Of Us Part I has been no stranger to controversy since its announcement, with players criticizing the apparent unjustified price tag. The remake of the 2013 masterpiece will include fully redone characters and models, new and improved textures and animations, 60 FPS performances, and more. However, recent leaks and official gameplay footage releases from Naughty Dog haven’t conveyed these features to a satisfactory standard, at least when Twitter is concerned.
Beyond Good & Evil 2 Development Struggles 15 Years On
Over the last several years, we’ve been no stranger to the negative reports surrounding Beyond Good and Evil 2’s turbulent development. In 2020, the game’s director Michel Ancel left the project and the games industry entirely but had said that the project was “going super well.” Another two years on from Ancel’s departure, not much else has been said officially about the title.

Following its insanely impressive reveal at E3 in 2017, information surrounding Beyond Good and Evil 2 was at a standstill. Rumors and speculation have said that the project has been in trouble for years with no end in sight. Skull & Bones Combat Fundamentals Are A Disaster
In September 2021, I reported on Twitter several key details on Skull & Bones from several sources. Nearly eight months on, new details have been provided and leaked online that have shown these details to be accurate. One of the biggest controversies that I reported on the game originally was the fact that Skull & Bones will not feature any form of player-to-player combat on land, with the game only featuring naval combat.
