Cooler than average temperatures for the middle of June will continue through the weekend and early next week with at times rain showers. Rain will diminish from west to east across the region throughout Thursday morning. Most areas will see light totals between zero and a quarter of an inch, with the highest amounts expected toward the south.

Scattered rain showers and thunderstorms will continue this evening. A few thunderstorms could have locally heavy rain. Expect a stretch of cooler weather with daily chances for rain showers for the rest of the week. The best chance of rain will be Wednesday evening. Wednesday brings cooler temperatures with highs mostly in the 60s across the region.
