Player of the Year: Alex Weingartner, St. Augustine Before the season, it was difficult to tell what Weingartner was more proficient at – hitting or pitching. During his senior season at St. Augustine, he didn’t do very much to clear up this issue. Weingartner was a consummate two-way performer.
